Established in 2002, The Mason Universe is a fictional tri-city area created by author Deidre Annette as the setting for all of her upcoming work. Each city creates its own unique environment and demographic, bringing on new challenges and obstacles for the characters to overcome - or succumb.

Set in an unnamed fictional state, the city of Mason serves as the county seat with the motto "Keep Moving Forward". Each city is broken down into smaller neighborhoods, with the city of Catlin separated even further into four smaller towns.

As with any region, Mason County yields its own cultural influence, lingo, transportation services, school and housing system, and points of interest. The Mason Universe is an index for a deeper view of creator Deidre Annette's world and the stories they hold.
